Off-Car Deep Clean

We remove the DPF, clean it on our MET Clean machine, then refit and reset the system — the gold standard for restoring filters to near-new condition. Final price depends on the vehicle and the labour time needed to access and remove the DPF.

Prices are starting from. Off-car pricing can rise if the DPF is difficult to access or extra labour is needed for removal/refit. Final cost depends on vehicle, DPF condition and additional work required (sensors, gaskets, force regen). We'll quote before any work begins.

Will a chemical clean fix a fully blocked DPF?+
Often not. If the DPF is heavily ash-loaded or fully blocked, an on-car chemical clean is unlikely to recover it. The MET Clean off-car process is the right call — it's the only way to physically flush ash from the filter substrate.
How do I know if my DPF needs cleaning?+
Common signs: DPF warning light, limp mode, frequent failed regens, poor MPG, smell of burning. We diagnose first — we won't sell you a clean you don't need.
Is this better than a replacement?+
A clean is typically a fraction of the cost of a new DPF and restores flow to near-OEM. We'll only recommend replacement if the substrate is physically damaged.
Do you guarantee the work?+
We guarantee the clean itself: if the DPF becomes blocked again within 6 months, we will carry out the cleaning process again free of charge. This does not cover the labour time for removing and refitting the DPF. If we identify any underlying issues (for example engine, sensor, EGR or fuel-system faults) and these are not repaired by you, the guarantee is null and void.

Our workshop is in Derby. We cover walk-in customers across the Midlands and offer trade collection within 10 miles of Derby, or a DHL postal service for trade DPFs sent from further afield.
